Wednesday quote.

I can't get this out of my head. It's been stewing. Oh, the depth of all this holds......
"I know that there are reasons. Reasons that, when we hear God's call, when we feel that gentle (or not so gentle) urging of God's Spirit for us to make a bold step, take a risk, serve others, save a life, commit - we so often hold back.
It's because we don't feel empowered.
We don't feel qualified.
We think we lack the courage, the strength, the wisdom, the money, the experience, the education, the organization, the backing.
We feel like Moses...
Not me, God. I'm afraid. Weak. Poor. Stupid.
Unqualified.
Daunted....
It has never been my desire to be daunted, to be afraid, to be unable to respond to God's call.  And I don't think it's yours, either. Think about this....
Often the very things that you think have disqualified you are the ones that qualify you to do what God has called you to do.”

You know what's crazy? You posted this on my birthday. My 46th birthday. I'm a wildly blessed woman who wonders (too often) if she's even living into what God created her and gifted her to be. I'm 46. That's closer, by far, to 50 than 25. And I wonder if I'm still cowering from His call and praying that I DON'T - even if I can't figure out how on earth He'll make me able to do anything more lasting than today's dishes as I have to mother and wife and homeschool and take care of the dog. What a good little dog! Anyway, I still hesitate and I needed this today because He's still wooing me in and daring me to trust Him. And I can. THANKS for sharing awesome Mrs. Cain's quote, Siesta Elizabeth!

Ha. Hi, Jennifer! Good to see you!
Yeah. I understand you completely. But I also encourage you not to overlook the beauty and call to be a stellar mom. If you're training your kids up to be mighty warriors for the Lord and to walk boldly in the knowledge of who they are, you're doing the thang very well!!! That's your call right now! That's pivotal! And I often wish I had kids and was doing just that. The grass is always greener......
Love you!!! Keep Believing Him!
